And ANOTHER question!!

dawn lang

Ex Club Member
I really am getting very dim in my old age!!!

I've lost my current PCGB membership card and my car is being serviced next week (typically I still have last years membership card![8|]). Obviously i'd like to get the 10% discount on the servicing as it's the big service this year!

Do I need to pay for a new one or do you think some kind soul at PCGB will take pity on me?

Also, who do I need to contact to get a new one?

I'm sorry - it's been a really tough week and my brain fell out along the side of the A127 when I put the windows and roof down a couple of days ago![8D]

Sophia's very nice just ring up and ask for her I'm sure you won't have tp pay for another they are pence to make.

I've just had my service at OPC Hatfield - they didn't even bother asking for my card or number - just gave me the discount. Do they usually ask?

Well I made sure that I told OPC Colchester that i'm a member and would very much like my 10%. Even offered to give them my membership number over the phone but their words were 'Bring it in with you next week when you collect the car'.

So I suppose they do.

Gulp!

Dawn,

I've never been asked for my card or number when I've been in to purchase parts (at Colchester)

If you can't get a replacement I wouldn't worry about it too much!

Cheers,

Tim.

They don't ask me either but my details including membership number are stored on their system...........it pops up on the reciept when I buy parts or have servicing done and 10% deduction is applied.

Dawn,

I suggest that if they query your membership, you get them to contact me for verification.

Thanks Martyn.

Car has now had the HUGE 4 year service and the discount was given without question (although the lovely ladies at PCGB sent me a letter for the OPC to confirm that I am a member just in case).
