Have you seen the new 918 Spyder!!!

The order books have just opened and it has batteries - 0-60 = 3.2 seconds and top speed of 200mph.

I've just worked it out. With the cash I would save on fuel, I would get my money's worth in only 485 years.

No doubt it is a stunner, but I really can't see the point in making it a hybrid. IMO.
 
I like the idea of giving the taxman and the petrol companies the finger, but until they manage a decent charge time and range i dont see the point. As an example going from my house near hull to nottingham would take 2 days as a mid charge is needed. The supercar varients all seem way overpriced IMO but thats due to it being new tech.
