ANDREW KIRK ADVERTISES IN THE POST, A FULL 964 SERVICE@ A VERY REASONABLE £350, HOWEVER BEWARE HE CHARGED ME £419! WHEN I TOLD HIM HIS ADVERISED PRICE HE SAID THAT WAS BEFORE THE PRICE HIKE, A COOL 20%.
HE ALSO SAID HIS NEW PRICE STRUCTURE WILL BE IN THE AUGUST POST.

used andy a few times, no real probs, my car failed its mot last month with brake lights inop ,he fitted me in at short notice found a bad connection on the switch and repaired it free of charge....

Bit naughty really, I mean how does joe public know about the price hike when the information is only at the printers... In reality he should have disclaimers somewhere, and/or mentioned this to the customer.
But then I always ask too much of People...................

K.

I have also used Andrew since he started trading and i have recommended him to other Porsche Club Menbers and everyone i know as been satisfied with his excellent service.

I have written to Andrew asking him to refund the additional charge on the basis that he did not inform me of the price rise at the time of service.

I will post his reply.

I wrote to Andy asking him to refund me the £65+vat, he phoned me saying that he would do so, he did not think it would have caused me a problem at the time to charge me his new rates even though they had missed the last edition of the Porsche Post.
I am pleased with the outcome because I have always found Andy to be 100 % honest.

In future i will confirm the price before hand.
