For those of you still waiting for your PP to arrive and do not know as yet: Des Sturdee (AKA carreraboy on the forum) has generously taken up the role as the London Region's Assistant RO. Des is also the 964RS Assistant Reg Sec and, as you can see from the forum, he is already actively getting East London on the PCGB London Region Map (See East London Bonanza

here).

Watch this space for a regular East london meet and a big welcome to carreraboy

Thanks for the kind words.....

Moved to South East London four months ago an area which historically has had a lack of any real PCGB activities. Most R20 London events and meetings seem to be West London/Surrey based. Thus was pleased to volunteer when the call was for an East London based assistant.

I am currently looking for an East London bi or tri monthly meeting venue, any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Basically a decent Pub/Cafe with a very good secure car park.

The first East London event is The OPC/TUNNEL/CURRY Day 29th October already outlined above.

Look forward to seeing all fellow Porsche Club Members friends and enthusiasts soon..........

Des

As an honorary sarff east Londoner, you really ought to be aware that the cute cockney couple you portray would probably never have crossed the river in their lives and might have been a bit pushed if asked to stick a pin in Lewisham on the map.
