Annual running costs

I'm sure this has been done before but a search didn't throw up anything!
The thread about the rise in road tax got me thinking about what proportion of my annual costs go towards the dreaded road fund licence. Leaving depreciation out of it, which for us 997 folk is clearly the biggest cost per year, based on an annual mileage of, say, 8000 miles what do you think the proportion would be? Fuel, insurance, maintenance, tyres, extended warranty (if appropriate) and road tax - anything else? I reckon about 10-12%, what do you think? Show working in the margin for extra marks [:D]

OK, spot on
Based on two years ownership, as then you'll factor in a set of tyres and a service (no extended warranty yet, for me):

Fuel at 25mpg, 16,000 £3,200
Insurance at £600 pa £1,200
Tyres £900
VTS subscription £200
Pogo subscription (Speed trap) £200
Service including oil change £500
PCGB subscription £110
Road tax at 255gm+ band £405pa £910
Total £7,220 for two years, £3,610 pa.
So the road tax represents 11.2% of your costs each year.
