**Anorak Alert** Porsche Option Codes

In a moment of boredom I decided to look-up the two option codes on the sticker in the RS's service book...

018 Steering Wheel - Sports

498 Without rear model designation

Any reason why would the original owner of a Carrera RS have chosen to delete the badge on the engine lid?*

*Don't know if you'd noticed Des, but in the picture of Der Butzmeister signing the car there is also no badge on the engine lid. So which of the UK owners put the badge on, or was it already there when the car was sourced in Germany?
