the things people do ! [&:]

but after a year of chasing I got the DVLA to release the following and I bought it from a recent auction.... liked the £250 auction cost but not the extra £130 in fees....hmmm indeed.....

so in a very 993 fashion, my lastest Porsche mod...... I was trying the 'only those in the know would get it' kind of approach.....
so does it work ?

and elvis on the dash is a whole different matter !!

and I've got fed up having to switch plates, hide plates, etc etc

Looks in keeping, I assume they are your initials?...in that case £380 is probably not that bad.....just means your next car has to be late '95-98 993...no hardship there [;)]

one hopes if I change it will [:-] if not I think I'll put that one what ever I end up on, as homage to the legendary 993

It's better than the reg on my 993, which starts with R996... Not only is it the wrong model number, but it has someone else's initials too. [:D]

Hey did you see the HIDS4U ad in the back of August Total911 magazine has a small picture of your car ? It looks like it came from the series you took after installing the upgrade kit.

How did you find out that they had the number and how do you find 993 numbers!?

those are my initials! [:D]

you can request most unissued plates to the DVLA but it can take up to a year + for the plate to be released onto a DVLA auction, just give them a call..... that's what I did, almost forgot about it after 18 months or so ! and eventualy it arrived after a nervous wait at the auction to see if there weren't any other N registered owners wanting SPN and a 993 combo !!
