Another headlight problem

Hi All.
has anyone got a fix for the headlights working loose and losing connection?
I've tried pushing the damned thing in while tightening the locking mechanism but that does not seem to work.
looked at the near side one to see if there's any difference as its only the off side that I'm having problems with, but nothing seems to have broken or snapped off.
As it stands, I can only do around 5 miles around the pot hole ridden town before my indicator does not work!
really frustrating.
Any ideas?

Well i had mine out and it is documented in the book .
From memory it was pretty easy just a push in/click job
 
unfortunately it's the "click that does not seem to work!
just wondering if any one else had this problem.
