Another New Problem

The main screen in Dash (S Model) shows ...Brake Proportioning !
Right screen flashing red brake sign .
left screen showing ABS and PSM signs .
Looked up a web site "whats wrong with my car " and it refers to
problems with the brake light switch sticking and causing the problem.
The screen very often tells me the hand brake is on when it is not but a couple
of pulls usually clears it .
Anyone had anything similar ?
If it is the switch is it an OPC job or can i give it a squirt of 3 in one ?

Sure it's not your new winter tyres?

Brake proportioning? Never seen that one, but the handbrake light is common unless you give it a couple of releases (I was going to say tugs but know what you lot are like[:D]).

Certainly some WD40 is worth trying on the brake light switch before OPC.

Pierre Merci but the tyres are not on the car yet .Would you really like the long story ???
Actually it has inspired me to start a new business.......Here ..I wont' expand as Tony M will try to beat me to it............
But the burning question, where do i squirt the WD 40 or 3 in 1
Heresy ! I might revert t o a Range Rover.........
I really wish i had a Morris Minor again Meantime i suppose i must suffer..............
