Took delivery of my dealer demo 2.7 on Thursday and pleased as punch! A superb combination of all I loved in a brand new 1969 Spitfire Mk3, a well-used Alfa GT Junior 1.6 (4-cyl boxer engine that made a racket!), a new Mk 1 Scirocco then a used automatic the same. Many other cars over the years.
Been out open every day so far, usually with my dog in the passenger seat. He seems to be getting used to full motorway speeds with the hood down and reasonably interesting cornering on other roads! I'm having to make a big driving style re-adjustment as my last rear-wheel drive was the Alfa, so I'm not pushing that aspect yet - especially with yawning drops to the left a couple of feet away over Long Hill near Buxton.
Have to be careful about nearside kerbs. A while since I had such a long wheelbase [8|].
North West or Cheshire group? Probably Cheshire as I'm near Stockport?
