I thought it was about time I said hello, i finally entered into the world of Porsche ownership in October after studying the OPC approved cars for a few weeks looking for a 981s. I also had a good test in a 718 and to check it would fit in the garage, but the 6 cylinder growl was rather addictive and confirmed that that was what I wanted. It's been quite a good few years since I owned a rear wheel drive car, so I'm enjoying getting to know it's characteristics, although it won't be used as a daily driver. The open day was my first club event and proper run as a mini road trip, so quite enjoyable on Sunday, especially seeing all of the other fine machinery in attendance. Hopefully, there will be many more events we will try to attend in the future and catch up with like minded enthusiasts. Anyway, here's a picture with its original plate on before it got changed. I seem to be having a struggle with the pics at the moment.

Boxster are great cars as is the people who run the Boxster register Tracey and her husband

who both are very knowledgable for the Boxster brand as Tracey has a lovely white 981 too. [:)]

Welcome aboard. I'm sure whichever car you opted for would have been the right one. One of the best aspects of mine is the noise from the six cylinder engine.

Enjoy you car!

Hi Iain

Welcome to the club and to the register.

The car looks fabulous and white is also my colour of choice as it really shows off the fabulous lines of the car.

I hope yo meet you at an event in the coming year

Regards

Tracy

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I agree that the colour really shows the contours well. I'll certainly make an effort to meet up next year and have a chin wag

Hopefully, I've finally sussed out how to post a pic from photobucket, so here goes. A bit belated but on the return from the open day a week last Sunday.
