As you lads know I was involved in a rescue mission earlier this year to get a 1978 924 back on the road. The car threw us up various "challanges" along the way but now she is back where she rightly belongs.....! I know that the car is not as Dr.Porsche intended but deserved a chance. She is running great and Kevin is using it as his daily driver. He had to wait until she was exactly 30 years old to get the cheap tax (€40) and VRT (€50)... His insurace is buttons as well (€135). She now wears her "ZV" plates with pride and Kevin says he gets loads of looks wherever he goes. She attended 2 shows this year. RESULT[:D][:D]

For anybody who wants cheap troublefree classic motoring look no further than a 924 ... A very well kep secret.......!

A very distinctive car - I like it.
I'll be after a Register form for your car as pre 1980 cars are getting increasingly scarce.

30 years young [:)]

which body kit bits have you added?

None .. A previous lady owner got a load of work done to it about 1985. The kit is a Carrera GT lookalike... It draws attention like you never seen [;)]
