Anti Roll Bar Drop Links

Hi all, I have to replaced these at the front of the car. I have a KW3 set up and was wondering if I should go for these Rennline ones rather than the standard?

Hi Graham, I recently replaced by droplinks on my C2. I went for the RS versions because my car is lowered on KWV3 suspension and for the added bonus that the RS versions are cheaper than the C2 versions! The roll is now less at the front but that is probably because my old ones were shot. I find it hard to believe that the Rennline ones would offer increased performance that most of us could notice and therefore are not worth the price premium.

BTW the picture of the RS droplink on the D911 website is wrong...this is what one looks like:

The part numbers for the RS links are:

left: 964 343 071 80
right: 964 343 072 80

While you're getting them you might want to get the RS lock nuts as well. These are different in that they're multi-use because the RS bars are adjustable. Part number for the lock nut is 999 084 624 09. They're about a fiver each and you need one for each side.

They're quite pretty though as they come in a cool blue colour [:D]

Just phoned Porsche Centre Stratford and they are £110 each + vat so the Rennline ones are actually cheaper.

Unfortunately that's another shocking example of Porsche's policy on hiking up the price of spares for the older cars, as stock runs down. Earlier this year, they were £85 + VAT each!

BTW you should get at least 10% discount off parts as a PCGB member....sometimes more if you haggle.

p.s. Type911 currently have them at £96 + VAT on their website:

(ignore the incorrect photos again).

Pictures now correct, thanks for the heads up on that one Steve!! Part numbers end 81 now, when they ended 80 they were only £55 each!! (our price now £92 each)
