I have just bought an original equipment front and rear arb from ebay that is supposed to have come from a 968 Club Sport. Should there be any identification marks on the bars to confirm their originality ?

There are green and yellow paint marks on them, should these mean anything ?
 
I believe the only way to check what they are is with an accurate calliper gauge. Standard 968 CS will be 26.8mm front and the M030 version will be 30mm
 
Before I rub the bars down and repaint them do the green and yellow paint marks obviously there since new mean anything ?
