I am in your local area and admit in the 4 months of membership i have not attended a meeting to date, but i attend to in May, i am often away which makes it a little hard.

I live in St-ives area and look forward to metting other members in the future.

Vanessa gave birth to Olivia on Sunday evening. We are all home and i'm now looking forward to taking her for her first spin in the car..

I have just found this 'Forum', despite a bit of a hangover from last night.

Yes we were at the meeting last night, so I thought we had better let you know someone listens to what you say during the meeting, and yes, there are people out here still!

On behalf of the rest of 'The Porkers' may I thank you and the organisers ( I don't yet know their names, just that they own the silver wide bodied supercharged 964 and collect speeding tickets for a hobby) for the 'prize' bottle we received as the winners of the competition last night.

Also as long standing members of the Morgan Sports Car Club (which holds its club night on the same night - you can guess which we now prefer to attend), may I also congratulate you both on the way you run the region. I'm sure it is much appreciated by all.

Hi Daryl, following the regional "slap" on Wednesday for not using the forum thought we had better sort ourselves out!

Great quiz night, one small complaint though from our team "Too Porsche for this place".

Technically we think we won. How so.....well we were the only team with just 5 people. So taking our second place score and factoring in our shortfall in team members, our adjusted score should have been 78.....easy see!

No.. oh well worth a try.

Anyway see you guys on Sunday and looking forward to the WOTY, particularly the day when we have the beer tasting followed by the ice cream. Has anybody got a set of plastic seat covers and overmats for a 3.2?!

Yes, there is life out here. I'm the guy who last "won" the tin with the mysterious contents at the 997 launch. I haven't managed to get to a meeting since then as I work outside the region but hope to get to another one soon. I always read the regional column in PP and must remember to send you my email address so you can put me on your circulation list.

Hi I'm here!

Would love to go to club nights but it's difficult to get out in the evenings during the week. Maybe in school holidays might be able to attend. Are there any hotels nearby? Can't spend a whole night in the pub without a drink!

Both places where we hold club nights have accomadation , the Ferry Boat at needingworth on the 2nd wed of the month and the Carriage House on the A 507 NR Shefford Beds on the 4th thurs of the month so hope to see you at one of our club nights if not both see you soon Bev.[]
