Hi,
think the need / obligation is looming to fit new pads and discs all round - any suggestions on options - car is a C4, v. unlikley to go oon a track day - so 'gentle road use' will be the norm.

Much difference between GSF and Eurocar parts etc. etc.

If you only intend gentle road use I'd stick with Textar pads, as Pete says they are what you would get from Porsche except they're not in a Porsche box but are nearly a third of the price. The faster pads tend to need a bit more work to get the heat necessary to bring out their best and when they're cold they're not as good as standard.

I prefer to stick with Porsche discs, even with the EBC red pads I have at present. Whether there's any appreciable difference in performance I'm not sure. If nothing else it means that I don't need to paint the centres to prevent them rusting as you have to with most if not all aftermarket ones.
