Hi, see my post regarding rust (turns out to be a rusty 'stainless' steel exhaust). I'm interested to see if any other Cayman R owners have anything similar as all cars will be pretty much the same age and spec and it would be good to have some like for like comparisons.

Thanks,

My exhaust has changed colour (with heat) from a nice stainless sheen to a very dark blue/brown, but no rust i did not think stainless steel rusted. Bob 2012 Cayman R PDK Peridot Metallic South Australia

Mine is now just over 9000ks with one rally and 3 track days, but mostly dry roads and of must important no salt, and in need of new tires, that are in transfer from the US due into Adelaide on Friday, hopefully to have fitted just in time for Sundays track day. Bob

thanks, not tail pipes I'm talking about it's the actual exhaust where it branches (just behind the tail pipe).

Hi all, I recently acquired a Peridot Cayman R. Owned since Janurary this year. Absolutely LOVE it. [link=http://www.david-mann.com/cr/1.jpg]Cayman R [/link] David
