Any good car upholstery repairs in Middlesex ?

I have just bought my first porsche, a 1996 C4 Coupe, and want to do a few things to bring it up to spotless.

The side bolsters on the driver seat are slightly damaged, and I want these repaired/replaced, has anybody done this ? What was the result, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any in Middlesex but if you're willing to go to Hampshire try Southbound Motor Trimmers on 01264 810 080

I have not used them but speaking to the guy on the phone, he sounded very professional and knew what he was talking about. The side bolsters on my driver's seat also need a little refurbishment but I decided against Southbound because (a) I would like someone nearer to London and (b) they have a long waiting list and are not taking bookings until next year.

If you find someone good nearer to London, please let me know.

I agree with Barry ...

Southbound trimmers in Stockbridge are really good.. they completely refurbished my 3.0 SC a few years ago, and they did a great job...

They only do Porsces, so they know the cars rally well.

Thanks for the info. I spoke with Southbound, and you are right about the amount of knowledge.
I may have a compromise on the location and timing thing. Southbound will sell me the leather, and I can get a good trimmer to do the work. Alternatively, they will make up the seats for me, and I can get a trimmer to finish the job. That way I can have the seat covers in 4-6 weeks.

Worth considering.

thanks again

Sounds like a plan. Please let me know which trimmer you decide to use and how good they turn out to be.

David Nunn at Southbound is about the best you will get-I would not hesitate in recommending him!
