Any good Porsche specialists

I have had a 996 C4 since new and I am pretty unhappy at the quality of the OPC servicing and repairs (I've tried them all in the London area over the last 12 years). As it's out of warranty now can anyone recommend a good specialist for repairs in the London or Essex area. My recent experience of an OPC makes me shudder and I'm sure the independents will value their customer's business more!

There was a specilaist in Upminster, Essex until a few years back and he did a great job at reasonable prices. Just wish I could find another.

Thanks

I can recommend JZ Machtech just off Jct 20 of the M25. Staffed by mechanics who know there way around all models old and new alike. Give them a call and ask to speak to Jonas http://www.jzmachtech.co.uk They've looked after my cars for the past six years.

I can recommend Autostrasse at Coggeshall. About 60 miles out of London. They are very busy but then they would be as they are better and cheaper in my opinion.

JZ have been servicing my 98 996C4 since it came off extended Porsche warranty and I've never been happier with the car. Excellent outfit JZ.
996s seem appreciably cheaper to run after their 4th year of ownership than mates have found with 928s, 964s and 993s are finding too. Just wish the interior quality was as good as it used to be from Stuttgart.

I can recommend Peter Tognola (Tognola Engineering in Datchet - nr Windsor/Slough) - excellent service and good value - has seen my Boxster and now C4S - 01753 545053

Good luck!

And GT1 at Chertsey!!! (01932 569911)

Five minute walk from Chertsey mainline stations, change at Egham for trains back to London!! Talk to Craig or Peter -tell 'em Mel sent ya!

I also offer very competitive rates for trailering vehicles!!!

Rgds
