If the weather improves perhaps a run out with Sunday lunch - any suggestions for a run north of York or to the coast.

I'd be up for this as there's nowt going on on the west coast it seems. We just got a Mini Cooper S and the MINI2 forum has runs all the time, we just did Wirall to Llandudno on Sunday and it was a blast. BUT the Mini is supposed to be for shopping, I want to get the P-car out!

I hope you'll all consider a run out to Raby castle on 14th August, to support the North-East Region !!

Have not suggested a date yet - depends on the weather - this weekend's forecast is for snow showers down the coast so probably not a good day for bringing the new car out. The new design seems to gather a lot more road grime on the sides and also under the doors.

I know of a good pub at Fadmoor which is just north of Kirbymoorside - a good area for a run around the moors.

Keep an eye on the weather for the end of the month.

Hi Mark,

As you will know this weekend was a bit on the chilly side although some brave souls were "topless".

Perhaps the weather might improve for next weekend

John

ProMax Motorsport (www.promaxmotorsport.co.uk) , Newark, Notts. is having an open day on Sunday 30 Jan. 10.00am to 16.00pm.

ProMax is an independant Porsche specialist - this could be a good run out and we could meet say 10.30 to 11.00am Woodall Services, M1 South for run to Newark. I understand ProMax will be providing tea/coffee and buffet.

See post dated 15.1.05 on 944 forum for further details

If the weather isn't too bad I will be up for that. Just watch out for ramblers and pheasants [:)]

Weather permitting I intend going to Pro Max open day.

I will pass through Woodall Services (South) 10.45 to 11.00am to see if there is any other interest - otherwise may see you at ProMax.

Happy Motoring - Randolph Coward.

PS - I will not be online again between now and Sunday
