Any ideas what this is???

I saw this picture in a thread on Pistonheads recently and it just struck me as a interesting look for (supposedly) a 986 Boxster. To me it has a very "Carrera GT" look about it and I though it looked very well done.

I suspect it will be very much a "Marmite" opinion. There was a reference to "Xtreme" but I couldn't find anything on Google that made any sense.

Regards

Dave

Looks good, doesn't it?
Seems like a thorough work over, doubt any panels other than front and rear lids are original.

Don't know anything about the mods but a guess about the location, could be Florida?
Who does that sort of thing out there?

Very interesting as I saw a Cayman in silver with the same GT3 front end, the same rear spoiler, but not the side body panels in London on Thursday.
I thought it looked great but forgot to take a picture!
