Put up a post a couple of weeks ago about my roof not lowering on the dash button. Tried everything with no success and planned to bring to dealer when time allowed. Took car out this morning and tried roof and hey presto - it lowered. Tried it 4/5 times and all working well. Anyone have any thoughts on why it started to work again. Everything I tried previously (relay, hand break, fuses etc.) made not impact but now it is suddenly working. Happy it is but wondering if this type of intermittent fault is common? thanks for any feedback. rgds John PS it is a 986 3.2

Thanks understand, roof latch always seemed to be working because windows dropped when you pulled latch but button on dash was completely dead to then drop roof. Strange and just curious to try and understand possible underlying cause....

Maybe cold weather? I read it doesn't work or at least advise not to use it below freezing (not that you would want to).
