I just need to have a natter with a Honest person, every time I call up about a 911 3.2 Carrera and ask the condition and stuff I get the good old.....

"Yea mate, its a minter, beatiful, reliable, your gonna laaav it saaan"

Well what I want is a good honest yea its nice, but its need attention here and there blaa blaaa, warts and all....

Is there anyone local that I can pop round and have a good gander at their car and they can show me some pointers??

Seriously, have you got a copy of the 3.2 buyers guide out of 911 & Porsche World? I can photocopy it and post it to you if that helps......I'll need to dig it out first which might take a few days.

I'm in Bath and have just bought an '88 3.2 Coupe which is in pretty good nic (I think!). (Not the Targa in my picture - haven't got around to updating yet.)

Not exactly on your doorstep but if you're up this way I'd be happy to meet you for a look if that's of any help.
