Hideous shed of 924.

Scotty strikes again!!!!

In case you hadn't noticed it looks like somebody is part way through a project........ and is not the finished article...

I think it looking good!!!

Yes - not sure if its a '44 or '24 - ftront wings are much wider than either and not convinced about rears!

Scotty -
I found this on a thread about wheels , this guy is trying to work out the biggest ones he can fit, this pic is just of the current (Sept last year) state of the project, there is no need to comment if you have nothing sensible (or humorous) to say.
There's a lot I could say about you, your car and your attitude, I just asked a question.

That could become an excellent car - whats he doing with the engine if anything ? Might want to rethink that exhaust mind you...

I like that. A lot.

My only comment would be that they look a little 'lost' without something as a rear spoiler - be it toast-rack or the S2/Turbo style thing. I hope he fits something there to fill the gap.

The wheels look superb. As do the arches. In fact, it's so good I'm going to quote the picture so we can all have another look at it ...

Is that an MR2 behind it?
Rob, look at the top of your screen. What do you see? Yes, "Porsche" and "944". It's terribly poor form to comment on any other cars appearing in any pictures, anywhere on here. I'm sure it will be overlooked this once, but please take care otherwise you'll end up on the "PCGB Re-Orientation Programme" that the mods run occasionally. You know, the one that Nick Peanut went on, and no-one has seen him since. Rumour has it that the screams were quite heart-rendering to listen to ...

Oli.

I don't know. Was there another car in the photo? I only saw the lovely red 944 (or possibly 924.) [:)]

(Take care, there may be a mod heading this way ... )

Yes, only one car there. And nothing else. You're not mixing the sheds in the background up with the ... >ahem< ... shed in the background, are you?

Oli.

I spy one of the original MR2's hidden there. A friend of mine got a brand new one of those for his 17th and we were all so envious, at that time a kid with any kind of car was unusual, let alone that mid engined boxy Toyota.

I like the rear arches on the Porsche, but I'm surprised that he hasn't put some deep dish wheels on there instead of the cups, especially if he is trying to get the biggest he can, maybe that is his next purchase.

DVLA
Date of Liability 01 04 2006
Date of First Registration 01 11 1981
Year of Manufacture 1981
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3528CC

I'm betting rover V8 conversion of a 924. not my cup of tea visually with the massive fartcan and cosmetic spacers.

Many thanks Oli for steering the misguided away from the non 944 blasphemy that was in danger of taking hold on this thread.

Personally I can't see the MR2 either ....damn I must send my self on that PCGB re-education programme now.

I think the car has potential would be intereting to see any pics of further progress that emerge on "another forum" - Does such a thing exist ? [;)]

He wants to put different wheels on it - I found it whilst looking for stuff about wheels!

It's defo a 24. look at the rear quater swage line. looks nlike it could be a nice car when it's done . loose that can and add fuchs

I think that could be a nice project ....! The arches on teh back are th eCarrera GT kit ones.. Not sure about the front .. A V8 in a 924 is a lot of work.. Pit about the fart canon on the back.. A nice exhaust that fits would take away the chavviness...!

A V8 .. Hmmmmm .. I think this is a few years ago...!
