Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any experience of building a 924 GT replica? I love to hear form you before I decide to do one myself.
Thanks

lovely!

Did you start with a 924 Turbo?

With the bodykit fitted how did you widen the track?

We completed one as well, used turbo as a base, need to use 911 turbo fuch to get correct look.(wheels are expensive!!!)
Lali, i think the pictures of yours is outside the old Ferrari garage at Brandon?
Regards
Geoff

No mine started life as a 924S, it is Simon Butterworths old hill climb/sprint car, its fitted with a 968 Engine and gearbox.

Front was widetracked by fitting later 944 hubs ( he says trying to remember ) I do run spacers as well though

My wheels are 944 Turbo Fuches not sure if they are the same as the 911 turbos... but they cost more than the rest of the conversion costs!

Geoff, yes the pics are outside the old dealership in Brandon. Its an odd thing, ever since i bought my 944 years ago I've wanted to stop outside and get some pics, but didnt because I didnt really thing the S2 looked good enough....

..No problems with the 924!!

Are you local then?

Yes based in village just outside Rugby, car we built was for my son.Its now at his house in Northampton so still close

Rear was done by using some wide track arms and some spacers to properly fill the arches.
