Anyone else confused about this years event?

Hi all,
Maybe I'm having a blonde moment but I've been trying to suss out when and where this years main club event is being held (equivalent to last years Ragley)?
Have we not got one this year?
Is the Silverstone Classic it?
Or has it been and gone?

Did anyone go to the Le Mans event last weekend? I've just seen the pics listed under 'event's on the forum and looks like it was a top event.
I didn't make it as I was driving up from Clemont Ferrand the same weekend but I did see a couple of Porsche covoys on the way. I found Porsche drivers in France to be very friendly - even though they were a rare site!!

I couldn't believe the amount of attention the car received from the French people - I think truly because there aren't many on the roads and they cost a packet in France. The main Porsche dealer in Clemont had a 1998 Boxster S for sale (in a pretty awful pinkish red metallic with an after market kit on it) for the equivalent of £35k !!!

The main event this year IS the Silverstone Classic and I'm going for the whole three days.[:)]

I am displaying my car at the Boxster Register which means that I've got a pair of tickets for just me![;)]

You'll be welcome to go with me, but I guess it is a bit late to book accommodation. I, along with Mark and Claire, are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Northampton NN4 7YF.
