Just wondering if anyone has tried a set of these on their 944,
or will they look pants!!!![:D]

If I was anygood on paint shop I would try pasting a set on my car to see.

Just a thought, bored whilst watching the rain come down this afternoon[:(]

This post will be of no help to you whatsoever (sorry) but interestingly I have seen those wheels on a MINI:

I'd quite fancy these ones if I were to upgrade to 18's. I havn't seen a photo but I think they'd look pretty good - though I do think the 944's suit twisted 5-spoke alloys better which is why i'd probably go for the 996 turbo alloys.

Lee, just in case you didn't get the PM I sent..

The dims on my wheels are: Front 8.5" x 18" ET 45, Rear 10" x 18" ET 54

Cheers

I rank these as the contemporary Cookie Cutters. You either like them or hate them.
Do you know the offsets of them?

Here you go Lee, not sure myself, maybe a little 'Modern'? These are to exact size and scale too...

Cheers for that Ben [:D]

Well actually like them, makes the car look well "stocky" is that the right word.

I agree they may be a bit marmite for most people, but not that bad

I agree - I think the angles and square cut lines of the 944 look best with chunky and square edged wheels, 17" Cup 1s are my personal favourite but these wheels have a similar square, 'engineered' look to them IMHO[:)]

Lego/Mechano wheels, look good on the new Boxsters/Cayman, not so hot on a 944 IMHO.

My initial thought too !

They dn't look much better on a 928 either - this pic taken at Walton Hall back in July 2005 !

I think they look a bit too fussy for the 944. They don't look too bad - they sort of resemble cup 1's from a distance, but when you examine them up close they look a bit fussy with the cut-outs and superfluous holes. The cleaner look of the cup 1's & 2's suit the car much better - or the 5-spoke twists of the cup 3's, Boxster twists or the 996 turbo wheels.
