"JohnCRS", the Cayman Register Secretary, and I will be meeting up in Skipton this Monday lunchtime for a chat, coffee and a sandwich if anyone fancies joining us? We'll be meeting at 12:30pm in Tesco’s car park:

That should give us a couple of hours parking before moving on somewhere else or heading home. Shout up if you want to pop along too so we know to expect you - the weather forecast looks good for a drive out at the moment! []

I had same problem trying to arrange something short notice last week LOL. A few of use were down there on the R3 clear away the cobwebs today And the weather and roads were fantastic (alas still a few Sunday drivers out!).

I’d have come down but B.Hol Monday = family duties for me!

I’d have joined in if it wasn’t so far away from me. I’m literally back up on my feet so drove for the first time again yesterday, and I really don’t think I’d manage the 1 hour 45 mins each way at the moment ...I would have done it otherwise. Sorry Dave and John

Arranging things is generally much harder just at the moment, with individuals and families having a lot of catching up to do and locations getting quickly booked up. A bank holiday is probably not the best option fo many but that’s the way it goes.

if folk are going out and can name a meeting point, even at short notice, it’s worth trying.
