Anyone got a cooling fan relay.

As per title I am looking for a 944 cooling fan relay, 2 speed with air con, the big one that sits nearest the bulkhead, anyone ?

these things rarely fail but they do get dirty contacts or a possible solder joint fail...it's a very basic relay. Take the cover off Jim and give all the contacts a good clean with a filing stick (like the girls use for their nails) or some folded wet & dry paper. Use a fine grit in both cases. These relays are crazy prices...I've resurrected mine a few times now simply by taking it apart.

Hear what you are saying Pete, had it apart and I am handy with a soldering iron I have an intermittent fault, possibly wiring loom, shorted the bloomin thing out today doing some testing and I have buggered the air con fan side.
It really is trying me now !

sorry to hear that Jim...the issues that I've had over the years are, dirty relay contacts/bad solder joint as stated, failed switch and corroded wiring near where it connects to the switch. The bad wires were cut away and replaced with new. Most of my wiring in the engine bay is new now, nothing done in the interior yet though..it seems to be holding it's own for now..:)
