Anyone help me for a change?

I know that there are micro switches, somewhere, in the cabriolet roof circuit that lower the windows when the roof button is actuated, and yesterday the passenger window resolutely refused to raise when I took the car on its once a month trot to work. The central locking has been stiff to operate that side anyway so I took the interior door furniture off and cut back the one way rib of the plug to reverse it on the motor and raised the window using the down button. Now where are these bl**dy micro switches, anyone?

Are you saying when you are pressing the button to lower the roof that both windows also go down?
This doesn't happen on mine.
I didn't even know it was meant to happen but I usually leave the windows up when the roof is down in any case.

You will find microswitches behind the rear interior side panels, but as far as I am aware these only sense when the hood is fully up or fully down so the electric motor stops. Both windows should drop slightly when the roof is activated.

Are the windows meant to move ? Mine don't budge at all when the roof is operated. Do I need to add this to my "to do" list ?

Actually can't remember if they lower when dropping the roof, but yes I am saying the windows drop halfway when raising the roof.

I am going to investigate the multiplugs in the passenger door, as they cost nothing to check out, and I aready have some electrical cleaner.
