Anyone here had fitted a sports exhaust called Designtek by design911!?!?!?

I may be wrong, but I believe these are actually made by FabSpeed as Design 911 are the authorised UK distributor for FabSpeed. The pictures, descriptions and pricing appear identical to the original FabSpeed systems they sold.

Incidentally, if you are looking for a FabSpeed system I would recommend contacting them direct, as they are very helpful and can ship to the UK cheaper than buying from Design 911.

I have ordered one but haven't fitted it yet, will let you know when it is on. Probably be a couple of weeks as I came back from my hols today and will need to fit it on a weekend.

Will let you know when its on.

hothatch2002,

I'd recommend checking the condition of both your silencer-tail pipe clamps and silencer-cat clamps before starting work on fitting the new silencers and tail pipes.

Our car is 5 years old and all of the bolts and nuts used to fasten the above clamps were totally corroded.

I spent over half the total fitting time removing these existing clamps.

Hi Steve, thanks for the tip, but I had already checked them - I ordered some new ones aswell. Infact the clamps for the silencer to tip connection were included with the stuff from design 911 and they are quite nice bulky stainless ones too. Have since ordered the cat to silencer clamp aswell to save some fitting time. (They get quite corroded in a short period of time)
