Anyone in Glasgow?

Morning all,

Is there anyone in the Glasgow area that would conduct a quick car inspection for me? It would be on a Porsche 944 turbo.
Do the PCGB have a car inspection service?

Or is there a 944 owner up in Glasgow that feels confident that he/she could tell if the car was good or not - and fancy earning some money?
 
George Morrison in Rutherglen, Motortune in Shotts or Lorimer & Findlay in South street are usual options for this
 
There's also RPM in Motherwell.

I'd recommend taking the car to Peter at Motortune in Shotts though.

Definitely don't have an AA inspection done. Their guys rarely know the first thing about cars as old as these, as Peter will be able to tell you if you do visit Motortune.

Where's the car?
"We" have been getting mixed reports about one trader north of Glasgow who has/is advertising various 944s. Generally best left alone seems to be the consensus of opinion.
 
If someone told me 'what' to look for in a turbo, i would help out if I can.
Im more than qualified to do the "usual" checks , but im no expert on Turbo's.
Who is the trader ( i may be able to help here as well ).PM me if you want them to be annonymous !

I have given the car a miss. I made my decision after reading his feed back on Ebay.
