It's for sale HERE & has been for quite a while. The seller has dropped his asking price by 2.5K now & it
seems interesting.
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the car or the people who built it, PK Motorsport.

Dont know the car but I believe PK Motorsport is Mike Pickup who operates from near Staples Corner in North London near Brent Cross. They ran Porsche Le Mans team and GT team and know what they are doing. Previously Pickup Lease going back a few years.
Try here - http://www.pksport.com/mainpage.htm

Try calling them - they may know the car

Thanks Phil,
They seem like a pretty professional outfit.
I'm waiting on some more info on the car from the seller as I don't even know whether it's
based on a 930 or an SC with a hybrid turbo at the moment.
Not much info in the write-up.

It used to be my car.....based on a 1983 930, and with a 964 look achieved using genuine Porsche parts - except for 18" wheels which are PWS copies..
There's an extensive history file and a huge stack of bills ( £50k plus ), with all of the work properly done by Pickup Motorsport.
I know why James is selling it again, and think he's mad - still, 4 seats is something that the Porsche definitely doesn't have!
The car represents a good buy for someone who wants a very quick road car that wouldn't embarass on track days either.

Thanks John,
Seems very low mileage for an 83! Looks nice condition though, as much as one can tell
from the picture anyway!!

Might be a bit highly modified for a 99% road car though (+ long distance euro touring), I'm
probably too used to my mild mannered SC for something this focused!

Total mileage is incorrect - although that's what it shows on the clock, and is the mileage covered since it was fully rebuilt.
Regardless of it's spec it is a very easy car to drive gently; the original spec given to Pickup Motorsport was to build the fastest and most tractable 930 achievable, and it's fair to say that they did a very good job.
If you are at all interested, you should arrange for a test drive - you'll be surprised.
