Seen this on-line and it's a LHD RS lighweight in red. Anyone know it? I'm not convinced it's real though.
Thanks

Yes it is real, it's been well discussed on the forum here. I went to see it when it was for sale in 2007. Ex track car from Asia IIRC. Was for sale at £22k when I saw it and had led a hard life.

I'm pretty sure it's for sale on mobile.de currently, it's got black wheels now.

Been on 911classic forever. If it was even half decent it would have sold a loooooooong time ago at the price. Don't know the car but the fact it hasn't rings incredibly loud alarm bells.....

Thanks all, that's the one on 911 Classic. I assumed something must be wrong at the price (assumed it must be a rep). Mind you it'd be a long time before I bought anything from 911classic (again), but that's a whole 'nother story!

I doubt 911classic actually has the car, that ad has been there for ages.
I'm pretty sure this is the car now for sale in Germany.

Way overpriced IMO. I viewed the car in 2007 just after it had come out of 911 classic's paint booth/shed for repairs to the rear quarter.

i'd guess that £50k is definitely way over for a car that doesn't have quite a few of it's original parts (wheels, seats, steering wheel, etc) I wonder how many original panels are left too. Leaves me thinking i have seriously undervalued mine when i renewed my insurance.

Very keen eye! I cant put the 2 together, clearly the cage has gone (was pretty ugly anyway), steering wheel changed, new carpets, different set of wheels etc.

How do you know they are the same car? I am intrigued.

It was for sale on P/heads privately last year in its current guise pretty much (with UK reg) and then soon after appeared on mobile.de [8|]

Pretty sure the same car was for sale with these guys http://www.wrgarage.co.uk/28604/abbeyautomotive.htm for a while at £38k.

Saw it Oulton once with a private reg 63DE or something like that. A friend enquired and was told they had a German buyer....
