Just bought an Alpine White '86 Lux this tuesday..just wondering if anyone knows or has owned this car? Reg D647 OUH..not sure why but i think i've seen this reg somewhere before..and the car has PCGB sticker on windscreen as well..
Anyways..found it on Pistonheads and actually bought it for spares but turned out to be quite a nice car and way too good condition just for breaking..so i've been keeping myself busy with fixing all these "small problems"..

If there's one or more of the previous 11 owners who read that..would appriciate any info or history but especially would like to find out who has fitted which alarms/immobilisers on the car..there seems to be about 3 or 4 of them..[&:]..and a couple of odd switches..under ashtray and driver's seat etc.

Just finished removing dash..there was a short in o/s door that was blowing fuses and was repaired by GCR in 2004(door wiring, window switch and fuse)..guess they didn't bother checking it all the way - now there's quite a few wires melted all the way to fuse box and it seems to be causing unpredictable electric errors (ignition, dash lights, central locking etc not working from time to time)..the spare wiring loom i have will come handy afterall..[:)]

Names found on invoices include Mr A.Calvert(2004), Mr T.Witts(2000),Miss T.Exon(1999), Mr P.Whitcombe(1993?-1999)..

Previous reg plates 15SDE (changed 30.03.1992) and D90MCL (changed 20.12.1991)..
