Anyone know the history of this flatnose at Gmund?

Hi All,

I was browsing PistonHeads and came accross this flatnose. Having never even owned a 911 before I am slightly at a loss as to why there's such a gap in valuations between the two flatnoses that the dealer has.

Does anyone on here know the history of this car (assuming someone can guess which car it is without the numberplate)?

Thanks in advance!
Clive

If you talk to Andrew Mearns at Gmund he may well tell you........ I nearly bought that particular car 10 years ago - doesn't time fly?!

I'm assuming you didn't find anything amiss then?
Phoned Gmund and they've taken a deposit on it already, just when I was coming around to the idea as well :(

It had an "interesting" history back then..... which included a 5 speed box at one point!
I came across it again about 3 years back at BS Motorsport who were doing the engine and box on it.
Pretty sure that it was due for some interior and exterior work after that, which I suspect that Gmund have either done or agreed to do.
