looks nice, GET A REV RANGE check done if you are serious on a manual porker.

as one would expect a car this new to be at an OPC or a well know Porker dealer not a 3rd party, some times cars end up at 3rd parties for a reason esp newer cars.

But it may be 100% and just a part ex for a car the client wanted they had in stock.

should have had the 2year or 20k mile service done so make sure that's an OPC one. if so you can ring the OPC and see if the car was OK when it was in for service.

higher miles but net result of a lower price. Drivers seat is in good nic for a bucket so the owner did care about how they got In and out the car.

good hunting.

For sale at Approved Cars Leicester is a 64 reg white Cayman GTS, manual,PTV,Sports susp. etc with 26k miles @ £51,950.
The previous owner was someone called Phil.
Any knowledge would be appreciated.

no I bought my R from Top555 and requested a rev range check they got a local Porsche guy in to do it.

just needs a laptop and a durmetrics cable. I have one but mine is a 1 use locked to the car cable, an unlimited use cable is expensive, but any one who looks after Porkers will have it. Top555 got a guy in and did not charge any extra for it.

As this garage deals a lot in Porkers one would expect them to check rev ranges as NO warranty with revs over range 3 !

But it's shocking what 3rd parties don't check and hence why I said some times there is a reason cars end up at places with no test gear !

I tend to only offload poorer cars to dealers(as part ex's are never good value) and sell perfect cars private, hence I always like to buy private and see who has owned it.

A lot of people like to buy from dealers, but if many people think like me and all my mates do, dealers end up with a lot of cars with issues as a private punter will not sell a shitter to a private buyer esp a higher end car on a forum. My private cars sell very fast on forums normally , my shitters end up at dealers !!!

All good points from Mr D, a car of this age should have at least a year's original warranty on it maybe two if it was bought with the car originally, ask.

You could get a pre purchase inspection done bearing in mind Mr D's later comments it could save you a lot of money or you could ask the dealer if they would take it for the 111point check at the OPC at your cost if they won't do it at theirs, conditional sale on if it passes.
