Anyone know what this is ? (Pics)

Found this box of tricks inside passenger side wing behind headlight. Has 2 wires, red and black coming from it. heavily taped. the black one comes through behind the bonnet catct and attaches to ..er..nothing. The red one goes through the inner wing and into the area around the master cyl, at that point I lose it..

wiring terminated ?? baffling, cannot see anything broken, or where it attaches

Hi Richard, Possibly it is, not yet prised it open, but would have thought the other connection was an earth, but surely that could have been done nearer, there must be three to four feet of spare wire hanging out

hi there,
just looking at your mistery box pictures! 100% TRACKER monitor unit. Don't open it or cut the wires. Are you upto date with your payments/subscription with tracker?? They can re-activate it if not. Unit stays with the vehicle in all cases.
