Anyone left their keys in my Car?

Or more accurately, in my front tyre!

Out for a drive at lunchtime"¦ kind of a crunching noise from the front followed by a regular scraping as I pulled up fearing the worst. And there it was. This little monkey "" a broken door key, poking out of the front offside tyre. []

Rubbish couple of pics but I think you can get the idea. The guy in the tyre shop called everybody over to have a look. Happily it was perfectly repairable.
Have to say, the worst part of the experience was having to use the jack and silly spare for the first time. The jack got scratched on the tarmac and the spare got dirty in the wet. Dohh!! []

I had a good one , no pics I'm afraid , I was on the A2 a few years ago ,in my A8, rushhour , fast lane, all lanes bumper to bumper, but moving fast , saw the car in front and the one in front of him, swerve into the centre lane, I would have done the same, but could not as there was no room , could not brake hard, because the guy behind would have hit me for sure, there was a steel RSJ lying in the road long ways on, I hit it with my two offside wheels at about 70mph, all a bit hairy. The guys inside me could see there was a problem and I just had room and momentum to make the hard shoulder , both wheels were smashed, thank god it was Quattro!! Audi recovery collected me within 40 mins and I had an A8 loan car with 9 miles on the clock delivered at 9AM the next morning !! Two new wheels and tyres 2 days later , but no damage to suspension or bodywork , amazing !!
ORIGINAL: Tool Pants

Wondered where I lost my keys....

At least it was not a bolt in the sidewall.
