Anyone local with 991 PCCBs?

I’ve recently acquired a 991.2 GT3 RS with PCCBs. Not overly impressed with them, OPC said they’re fine.

Just wondering if anyone local has a 991 with PCCBs who’d drive and pass comment on them for me?

Hi Pilotprice.
Not sure what’s local to you - I’ve a 991TurboS & previously a 991.2GT3 with carbons.
Not sure what issue you’re having but generally I’d said they’re pretty impressive at hauling the speed off!
I had similar sized steel brakes on an AMG and they had more feel to them, but never tracked that so can’t comment re fade
There’s a few of us around the NW who have CC braked cars, so plenty of opinions to be had! Are you at the Oulton track day?
cheers Graham.

Am I correct in saying you need to get them up to temperature before they start to ’work’?

A friend of mine has an F12 and the carbon ceramics on that are pretty rubbish until they get warm. A couple of enthusiastic stops soon warms them up though.

Cheers for the replies,

Im not at the Oulton day unfortunately as all the tickets sold out.

They do get marginally better with heat, I thought they might be glazed but I’ve given them a jolly good beating in North Wales and nothing really changed. They work, just not spectacularly
