Anyone need a cheap engine ??

Anyone after a cheap engine for a 2.5 lux,as i have for sale complete as its was inbolted from the car minus the starter/airflow meter.Ran fine with no overheating problems or blowing smoke etc.Mileage was 144000 in the car but it cannot be verified and might not be the original fitted to the car. Ideal as a cheap replacement or rebuild/swap over.Im after £125 as i have i dont have anywhere to store it and need a quick sale !!

I have already emailed and posted a reply to his thread with no response so maybe his cars sorted now ??.Two other people have expressed an interest but no one has commited to buying it yet. The rag and bone men were eyeing it up yesterday so i'm half expecting it to just disapear !!

Sorry, tried replying to your PM but it wouldn't let me. I am going to live with the smokey engine for a bit, i mentioned the possibility of getting a second engine and the wife went a bit funny on me. Give it 6 months and i should be able to slip the expense under the radar! Doesn't help you of course. Also thinking now that I may see if i can get a second 944/924s and drive that while rebuilding my current engine and then use one for track days once i have two runners. Not entirely sure how well that plan will go down, actually i know exactly what she will say, but i will work on it!

Id have had your arm off if Id had any means to transport it.
