Anyone need a very nice blue & linen dash

It seems a shame to butcher a perfect and rare dark blue / linen dash if someone could get benefit from it, so I am pepared to exchange my dash for another in poorer condition or all blue (maybe black also) for some money to cover the hassle and change in condition. Otherwise it gets the jigsaw treatment...[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

I am in the market for a good LHS centre console side trim thingy. Mine is blue to match the dash, but some oik has previously screwed a mobile hands free thing into it and then taken it off again. Net result is some untidy holes. []

I appreciate that you are unlikely to be swapping this bit out, but thought I would mention it in case anyone has any knowledge of a good-un on offer anywhere.

Cheers
Mike

Fen, I still have my old blue dashboard that has the ubiquitous cracks along the top. It's in my loft waiting for me to do the interior trim course so I can fix the cracks. As I am now not likely to ever do that you can have it to cut holes in for your cage,

This will free your good one up to sell on. You should get good money. I paid £100 to get the perfect blue one that's currently in my Turbo.

I have a theory that the blue dashes are more prone to cracking as there were another two guys on Titanic looking for blue dashboards when I mentioned I'd swapped mine out [&:]

Paul, I missed this somehow - I might well take you up on that, assuming it isn't too bad? I could make a quick repair and have it flocked maybe. Yep [:)] plus it's a pretty expensive course + equipment, and in the past 8 months I've been asked about interiors only twice so I don't think it's a money spinner TBH.

My dash has about half a dozen cracks, the worst is about 5cm long by 4mm wide. Now that its out of the car (and in my loft) I think it will be pretty easy to do a half-decent home-fix using the vinyl repair kit that Frosts sell. You're welcome to have it to experiment on.
