My local breakers yard has just got a 924 in about an 82ish. It was seized as it had no road tax .It will have to be scrapped but can't be broken just yet but as soon as the paper work is sorted i will have access to the parts .If anyone needs anything give me a pm !!

Not worth a special trip obviously.... but I am in need of the plastic moulding that clips into front panel to take the hose for air-cooling the alternator. Mine has disintegrated. Am also on the lookout for a spare throttle cable.

I go there all the time as its about 30 secs away from my house . As soon as the car can be stripped i will let you know.

Not sure if you got my email a short while ago as I've had big computer problems. Hard drive crashed after various odd happenings and setting up new computer has been a bit of a nightmare (I'd rather rebuild cars).
Have they had go-ahead to start breaking ?
Regards. Muddy

Just been down there and the car can now be broken, its an 83 y reg 90% complete. The throttle cable is there ( looks new) The white plastic cooling duct is ok. Im going back tomorrow to get some bits so if anyone needs anything let me know asap !!

Random Hero, I think I PMed you not sure if it worked though, but was wondering if there is much left of the '24, what I'm actually after is the front valance if its salvageable

John. Just in case my email is lost in the ether (I have been known to press the wrong button)

Was under the car a couple of days ago and discovered rubber cover from front of transaxle has gone AWOL. Should there be one on dead 924 it would be useful. Not urgent in any way. Thanks.

Cheers!! If its not to badly twisted then its still going to be better than the one I had to take off, thanks for the reply, fingers crossed

After a lot off hammering and swearing I've managed to get the one I had straightened up fairly well, and with the stone chip on and painted it shouldn't look to bad (Ihope), but if the one on the car is good then still let me know if you get the chance
