Anyone remember this car....?

I seem to remember it cropped up on some posts a while ago when it was on ebay a couple of times. Finally looks like it has bitten the bullet from the pictures. Not sure if the roof has been removed due to accident damage or stripping for parts but IIRC it was a no sunroof option.


 
Remember the car well, from its multiple appearances on e-bay. I think a search of this forum for "red rose" will bring up previous discussions.

Seems a shame to break a car with good potential, especially chopping the roof out.

I remember it from ebay a bit back for sale in nottingham i think ?. Seemed a shame as it was a silver rose but as i recall it had been accident damaged previously and not repaired very well !!!
 
Can't be a Silver Rose on a G unless something dodgy went on; they didn't hang around the showrooms unsold until the early 90's.
 
It had been repaired previously, this time rolled on Fri 13th... still, has now provided a nice interior for our 924 Turbo cab project!
