Anyone replaced the door speakers or amp

Hi all. I'm always tinkering with my cars audio[8D] My y2000 C2 has the 6 speaker package with tweeters front and back! It's none MOST.
Changes so far.
H/U to Becker Grand Prix with Ipod connection, still connected to the original becker amp.
Front speakers changed to MB Quart RUA 210 components.
Just purchased some MB Quart 4" coax for the rear.

Questions.
What Amp do i need and is it a straight forward change?
Would you change the door speakers are these mid base?
I would love a conversation with anyone who's done this diy, any help appreciated
