I think this site looks very interesting http://www.sanden.nu/

Does anyone know of a Swedish translator web page?

I think you could be right.

It does make for a bit of a grin trying to work our what the different bits are either way.

I'm assuming the prices are in Euros?

Nope, Sweden kept the Kroner(?)

I think this is what the best bit says:

3.0L Turbomotor
S2 block & crank, turbovevstakar, new stock, ring new strap, p-box, new tryckplatta(flywheel) + sintered clutch. Top(head?) with comp 8.1:1, door/gate(ported?) 49/40 valves, Z27 cam, KKK K27/10 & 360-degree, 3.5" downpipe+complete 3" exhaust system. SKE69,500. Trade-in not required.

I make that under £5,400!

I am very tempted ... but no mention of fuel system and mapping.

I would not claim to be fluent, but have some abilities, having lived there.

The main page titles are for company background, parts & accerssories, service (easy that one) and tuning/upgrades.

Under parts & accessories they have reconditioned A-frames, brake capipers & disks, springs, anti roll bars, dampers & torsion bars.

Anything else you need to know ?

Well, it's the 3 litre turbo conversion I'm really interested in, although the Sachs sintered clutch looks good value and I need a clutch...

Do you know if there's any sales tax to go on those prices?

Thanks BTW!

Here goes....

Choose Bilder (pictures)
Then 3.0 liter turbo engine for sale.... specifications to be found under Delar & tillebehör (parts & accessories), Drivlina (drivechain)

3.0 litre turbo engine

Uses 944 S2 block and crank, turbo con-rods (I think), new bearings, piston rings, new straps ????, p-boxar???. New sintered clutch pressure plate. Compression ratio 8.1:1 ported with 49mm / 40 mm valves, z27 sport camshaft, kkk 27/10 turbocharger with 360degree bearing. 3.5" (why not 88mm ??) downpipe and complete 3" exhaust system. Price 69,500 kronor, exchange not required. Many pictures in the photoalbum.

Similar to the UK many motor trade prices will exclude VAT (moms). Unfortunately VAT in Sweden is very high at 25%, so this will be a significant addition to the cost, best e-mail him & ask. English will be fine

Thanks for that!
I figured English would be fine but I don't have the cash at the moment (nor for a few months yet), so I don't want to contact him too soon and appear to be a time-waster.

Anyone know what a 944 Turbo engine in pieces is worth? Despite it's history [8|] there isn't much wrong with it - a set of rings and a set of bearingswould see it healthy (according to the ex-OPC guy who looks after my cars). I guess I turned it off before the damage could be done...
