Anyone thinking of selling?

Anyone thinking of selling? Particularly those with white coupes?

Both Dave and myself often receive requests from people (than don't use this forum) wanting to buy a 964, so if you're thinking of selling please let us know. They're in short supply don'tchyaknow [;)]

p.s. I HAVE passed on details of members' cars that I know are already up for sale.

Steve,

I'm considering selling my marine blue C2 targa in the next few months, so if you hear of anyone after one, let me know and I can get some details to you.

Paul.

Thanks for letting me know Paul. It helps a lot to hear direct instead of having to scour the classifieds to see which members are selling their car when I get asked this sort of question.

The other ones I know that are up for grabs at the moment are Mutley's C2 cab and Vitesse's C2 coupe.

Chris, I think you'll need to sell both of them for an RS [:D]

Steve,

I have another Porsche project on the go and would sell my precious white 964 only for the right money!

my email is Koonshum@aol.com

thanks

Norm

Hi Steve The Cab is still for sale, I thought it had gone in December, an older chap (64)wanted it, he had never had a porker & felt if he did not do it now he never would.

I think the HPi check he did got him worried as a previous private plate attached to the 964 some 15 years ago is now attached to a top of the range Merc & it had finance on it (nothing wrong with that), to you & me thats fine got nothing to do with me or my car, in fact when I bought the 964 that private plate was attached to an M6 BMW, the old guy could not understand why it still showed even though I explained the car had 3 or 4 plates registered against it at 1 time during its life & they will always be listed in a history check & show up against other vehicles that they were now attached too, & people are allowed to buy a car on finance if they wish!, he just could not get his head round this[8|], & I think he felt that if the Merc guy did not pay his finance they might have some come back on a car the bloke had owned in the mid 90's[&o] I tried to explain this & told him to call Hpi but hey ho that died[>:]

I am not in a hurry but if anybody is interested in a genuine 964 cab let me know.

Hi Steve

On this theme i run a 2007 Boxster for weekends but dream of a daily driver 964. As this would be an additional car my budget is quite finite! Ideally would love a well maintained Coupe tiptronic with the usual 964 issues sorted as i am no technician. If this car exists i would be interested to know who might be selling.

Peter

[:D]

Hi Peter, you must be the first I've heard of that would use a boxster at weekends and a 964 for the daily drive. Most would do it the other way round - in fact, that's what I do myself! [;)]

In case, you didn't notice above...James_W has a 964 tiptronic for sale. Not cheap but well looked after 964s generally aren't. Here's the link:

Hi Steve

I am thinking of selling my 1993 C2 Cab. Guards Red with grey sports seats, cup 1's and only 52k miles. Immaculate condition. Looking for around ÂŁ16k. It's due a short service and an MOT by the end of March hence not advertised yet. I'm looking out for a 944 turbo or a 968 so could do a deal if anyone is interested.

Hi Steve

Yeah but its economics. I have a 2007 Boxster with 11K on the clock which is pristine and i like it that way so i couldn't see it as a daily runner. Plus a coupe is much safer where i would be parking!!

Hi Steve,

I am contemplating the sale of my C2 targa tip. So if someone is particularly interested to be the next custodian then i can forward some details.

Paul is looking for exactly your car but in white! See here:

You just need to persuade him how nice they are in black [;)]

For others thinking of selling, judging by the e-mails I've been getting there seems to be an orderly queue forming for C2 coupes. Unfortunately for them, we all appear to be holding on to ours. [8D]

Hi Steve you can remove James_W's Coupe tip from your list.... is now sold. [;)]

Just bought a 996 C4S Tip - collect tomorrow.

Cheers

James

Thanks Steve - I actually ended up PXing it, however, managed to strike a very fair deal and will say that 964 values are definately holding their own.[:D]

Thanks to Dave, yourself and the other guys for all the advice / help received during the ownership of my 964.

I am really looking forward to collecting my new fully fettled and re-shod C4S tomorrow.

Hi Steve,
I have just put my 964 C4 for sale on Pistonheads, see link here:

Steve.

For the right price, you never know........ 996 turbo's and GT3's are starting to look tempting.....[:D]

I KNOW someone that might be interested in your car Steve....do you want me to put you in touch? [;)]

S'funny, I saw a nice white C2 just like yours Steve at Unit 11 last night...

...they were talking about using it as a courtesy car for customers I think[;)][:D]
