Anyone used Pirelli Corsas?

Better in the wet than Cupsports , as good as anything thats supplied almost bald to use in UK in the winter !

Go buy the toyos for Oulton ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,honest , best bet and last way longer than Corsa

Got the hump 'cos i bought a set for GT2 , all good , it did eat rears , wanted two more and they cud nt produce for 6 months ! For a huge company not impressive .............

Thanks Vic, I have to be honest I have found the toyos go off far quicker than I would like (might be my driving style) plus now they are the same price as cups! £800 ish I don't think they are worth the cash. Great as a wet tyre I know!

Corsa and Cups abt the same last i tried .............as u start with 6 mm on the Toyo s they do move around more when new , however u have to really work hard with 993 weights to 'overheat' them and have them go off ........................while with GT3 s heard this regularly due to being heavier...........................FWIW I RUN MINE HOT 30 /32 ..........cant deny they re not as cheap as former years .........................

Definitely worth experimenting J .......at 35 hot i wud expect to be moving around lots at the back !

32 is my prefernce , 30 all round even more stable ...........depends what feel ,from which end u want ...................in truth pound or two at my level i[ ie very ordinary ] does nt make that much odds ...5 ibs is a fair bit !

in truth i dont know what else is currently out there and good value , all the guys like Mark Hutchison and Steve Girdwood cud nt make it pay so gave up [ dont blame them] but their feed back from regular attendance at Track days was pretty handy/The Micheldever lot always pusu u towards Michelin where they get the biggest discount but rarely pass on There may still be a guy at Dunlop in Birmingham called Dan............he was real helpful but no experience myself since the cheapo [real CHEAPO] RANGE THEY HAD CEASED ABT 2 YEARS AGO..................

Hosier seem good but NOT STRICTLY road legal..............l ...........

Thanks Vic,

I will have a look around, I might run my toyos for one last day at Oulton, might be iffy on the way home though as they are near the tread wear indicators!

See you at Oulton!
