I need to get my steering looked at as it's leaking. Can't find time to do it myself at the mo but whenver i send car to Larose Porsche or Project 9 i get a £1k bill.

Anyone know any friendly mechanics in kent?
 
Project Nine would be a lot closer to you than Belvedere - they're just outside Marden, and Cliff cut his mechanicing teeth on 944's! They've looked after my 968s for a few years now.

Craig. Sorry to hear the steering rack and/or pump is still playing up. What a pain. How about taking it to a generalist mechanic. Surely the rack / pump can't be that unique on these.
 
Hey James, good to hear from you! It has been fine actually. I had a used one fitted soon after i bought the car. Hoping it's not the rack but one of the pipes. Just don't have the time or space in garage at the mo to try and fix. But yep have been considering local garage too. I guess worst case fitting a recon rack won't be that different from any other car. Hope yours is going well :)
