Anyone using Cyclops?

I have found the Cyclops app quite good for speed camera detection, I think it is better than Waze and Google maps and it only costs £2.99 per year.
Normally when I open the app it shows the number of active users within a defined area, however for the last couple of weeks my app shows zero users, see the image.
I am not sure if that is a problem with my phone/app or if Cyclops no longer shows the number of users. Anyone know?
 
I do - but it’s been very unstable / unresponsive recently (last few months). No users, not recognising subscription, not opening…
 
Used it up until last year. It became useless in my daily driver Ford with CarPlay - the app seemed to want to use the native ford link and carplay at the same time - result was it stopped "talking" and would only announce all the cameras etc. at the end of the journey when I unplugged it.

I had several email exchanges with the developer who just kept on saying "you need to enable background" - which I had already done, gave up in the end.

Shame - the premis was good - I now run waze in the background, no route plotted, to get it's safety prompts, with google maps as my navigation ( I don't like waze routing) - not ideal and I with cyclops had delivered on it's promise.
